A local authority council is seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Health Officer to join the Selective Licensing Team. This full-time position involves inspecting rented homes, issuing licenses, and advising landlords to ensure compliance with safety standards. We need an enthusiastic officer to become part of our Selective Licensing Team to ensure that private rented homes are safe and licensed to comply with minimum legal standards and good practice.
This full‑time post would be suitable for experienced officers or graduates seeking Local Authority experience.
The salary is career graded offering progression for relevant experience and qualifications.
Our offices are based in Arnold on the outskirts of the city of Nottingham in a pleasant ‘green flag’ parkland setting with good public transport links.
