Disrepair Housing Administrator

Hourly Rate: £22.65- £24.31 Location: Welwyn Garden City Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (12 weeks initial term)

We are looking for a Disrepair Housing Administrator to join our Resident Services & Climate Change team, supporting Housing Repairs and Building Safety functions. This role plays a key part in managing damp, mould, and disrepair cases, ensuring timely resolution and excellent communication with tenants and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage cases of damp, mould, and disrepair, ensuring accurate updates and timely processing.
  • Raise repair jobs and coordinate with contractors to guarantee prompt completion.
  • Attend internal and contractor meetings, taking minutes and tracking actions.
  • Liaise with tenants to confirm inspection appointments and maintain clear communication.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver a customer-focused service.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, for case tracking and reporting.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within housing or repairs.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
  • Clear and confident communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
