Overview

Responsibilities
  • Clean bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead.
  • Use products safely and follow hygiene procedures.
  • Support infection‑control and safety standards.
  • Assist with laundry and linen care.
  • Report any issues or repairs as needed.

  • Attention to detail and a positive, respectful attitude toward residents, visitors and colleagues.
  • Ability to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and to act appropriately.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know how to respond. All staff attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and can seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
