Overview
AMU has an exciting opportunity for a Ward Housekeeper to join us at Royal Stoke University Hospital. You will be responsible for equipment ordering and supplies, and for the organisation of the ward environment and patient comfort. Ideally you will have experience within cleaning/housekeeping or hygiene-based role where you have worked to deliver to deadlines and within set guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of cleaning, catering and minor maintenance services in the ward area, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse.
- Coordinate all patient facilities and services in the ward area; work as an integral part of the ward team.
- Monitor quality standards, report deficiencies and recommend appropriate changes.
- Ensure the environment and catering services meet the needs and expectations of Patients, Visitors and the Ward team.
