Job summary

A healthcare service provider in Guildford is looking for a dedicated full-time Housekeeper to join their team. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across various areas while ensuring high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate should have relevant cleaning experience, effective communication skills, and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team. Flexible working hours include shifts across 5 out of 7 days, ensuring a safe and clean environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain a wide range of areas within the building.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum designated areas.
• Ensure surface areas and touchpoints are regularly sanitised.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Follow health & safety guidelines.

We're currently recruiting a full time Housekeeper to join our dedicated team to deliver outstanding cleaning services for Healthcare, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

As one of our committed Housekeepers, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our staff and visitors.

Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: 5 out of 7 days

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining a wide range of areas within the building
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures
• Following all health & safety guidelines when using equipment

Our ideal Housekeeper will:

• Have cleaning experience in a similar role
• Be passionate about customer service
• Effectively communicate with customers and other team members
• Be able to work individually and as part of a team
• Have a flexible approach to working
