A well-established service provider in Bromyard is seeking a House Manager to join their senior care leadership team. You will guide and support residential staff while promoting the welfare of young people with learning difficulties. Candidates should have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care, leadership experience, and a valid driving license. The role requires full-time commitment with some evening and weekend work as needed. Hours: 37.5 per week - Full time, Permanent - Occasional evenings required, work one weekend in four and be on the on-call rota.
Rowden House School, part of West Midlands Learning Campus, is a well-established service provider offering education and care for young people aged 11-19 years old with moderate to severe learning difficulties, some of whom are on the autistic spectrum and at times may present challenging behaviour.
As a House Manager you will work as part of the senior care leadership team, providing direction, guidance and support to residential care staff. You will model best practice approaches, directly line manager the Shift Leaders and safeguard and promote the welfare of the young people at all times.
