Overview

Hourly Paid Lecturer in Travel and Tourism – London, Greater London

Salary: £32.27 per hour (including holiday pay) – Tutor Rate £38.23 per hour; Teaching Rate £24.72 per hour (including holiday pay) with Additional Duties Rates. Contract Type: Fixed term contract. Employer: United Colleges Group (UCG).

Position Details

The Faculty of Health, Wellbeing & Care has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer in Travel and Tourism. The role will involve tutoring and course management of a Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programme as well as teaching across all programmes.

Responsibilities
  • Tutoring and course management of Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programmes across Travel and Tourism.
  • Teach across all programme levels as required.
  • Contribute to team planning and delivery, ensuring alignment with NCFE curriculum requirements.
Qualifications
  • Degree (or equivalent) in a related area with relevant experience in Travel & Tourism.
  • Familiarity with the current NCFE curriculum.
  • Willingness to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification if not already held (Level 4 teaching qualification such as PGCE/CertEd is preferred).
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills; ability to work cooperatively within a team.
