Summary

The School of ESOL are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified ESOL tutor to join our high-performing teaching team in Luton.

Our ESOL provision includes college and community-based courses, during the day and evenings, from pre-entry to Level 2 qualifications. This role would suit someone with an understanding of both adult and 16 - 18-year-old learners and the ability to deliver innovative learning opportunities across all levels. Experience of teaching Essential digital skills and/or Functional Skills Maths as well as ESOL would be of an advantage.

We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and have a desire to work with learners. Further Education or community teaching experience and a formal teaching qualification is desirable, although if you are willing to obtain your teacher training qualifications, we would also like to hear from you.

This is an hourly paid role based in Luton. We are currently looking for 10 hours per week across 2 days but there is potential for this to increase to cover ad hoc absence and evenings.

You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be actively encouraged to upskill.
