Hospitality & Events Assistant Manager - Brentford FC | Full-Time / Permanent

£34,000 + excellent benefits including bonus, healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.

We're looking for a Hospitality & Events Assistant Manager to join our passionate and dedicated team at Brentford GTech Community Stadium, a state-of-the-art conference and events venue and home of Brentford FC. In this exciting hospitality and events role you will support the Head of Hospitality & Events with the planning and delivery of a varied catering operation for both matchdays and non-matchday conferences and events.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitating day to day catering operations, ensuring we meet exceptional client and guest expectations
  • Managing C&E events including accurately completing planning and system paperwork such as rosters, P&L paperwork, POS Requirements, SOPs
  • Effective set up and management of Hospitality lounges on match days including overseeing a variable team
  • Inspiring and supporting the development of the events team
  • Driving innovation within our conference and events product including mapping customer journey, market trends, competitor analysis, and client walk throughs
  • Working alongside the Head of Operations and Head of Hospitality to research food trends, ensuring exciting and customer focused menu offerings
  • Ensuring allergies and specific dietary requirements are held as a priority when liaising with kitchen and staff are briefed accordingly
  • Maintaining key relationships and schedules with both internal and external clients
  • Fostering transparent and genuine relationships with co-workers and the wider Levy UK family
Qualifications
  • Previous events experience working in a luxury hotel or venue in Conference & Events operations
  • A background in hotels, stadium, or event catering is a bonus!
  • Personal circumstances must allow working flexible hours to align with stadia activity
  • Strong leadership qualities - an excellent communicator with experience managing multiple team members.
  • Positive and passionate focus on food - a natural flare for hospitality
  • Strong organisation skills and commercial awareness - a problem solver with a resourceful mindset
  • Credible, champions and grows guest and client relationships
  • Standards and quality driven hands on management style
