Qualifications

  • Experience in a Maintenance Environment post apprenticeship.
  • City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is essential.
  • Understanding of Legionella prevention requirements within Hospital buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Engineering primary day to day customer interface.
  • Ensure the Engineering Planned Preventative Maintenance Routine is completed.
  • Provide feedback on findings to enable continuous improvement.

Skills

Experience in line managing in a Maintenance Environment post apprenticeship or qualifications gained
Experience in managing and coordinating Contractors and Service Engineers
Excellent written / verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines
Sound fault finding techniques

Education

City & Guilds Part 1 / 2, NVQ Level 2 / 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Time served apprenticeship in a Mechanical or Electrical biased discipline
