Job description

We’re looking for a dedicated team player to take up an exciting opportunity as a Homes Coordinator (Hazards) on an initial 6 month FTC, supporting the effective management of property hazards and creating safer communities across our organisation. You will play a vital role in protecting and improving the lives of our residents by ensuring our homes not only meet but exceed compliance, risk, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a first point of contact for hazard reporting, investigation, and resolution across all Stonewater managed homes.
  • Monitor, review, and support compliance with legal and regulatory safety standards, ensuring prompt escalation of any issues.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams, contractors, and residents to ensure all identified hazards are safely and efficiently addressed.
  • Maintain accurate risk records, supporting evidence-based decision-making and continuous safety improvement.
  • Coordinate repairs, follow‑up actions, and compliance checks in line with best practice in housing safety management.
  • Contribute to internal audits and the development of safety action plans and incident reporting processes.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience supporting or delivering property, housing, or building safety functions.
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant housing, compliance, or health and safety legislation (social housing experience is an advantage).
  • IT literacy with the ability to maintain accurate data and utilise digital tools for case management and reporting.
  • Confidence working independently and in partnership with others across organisational levels.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service and making a positive contribution to our communities.
