Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

This is a part time 9 month fixed term/secondment opportunity. Please get line management approval before applying for secondments.

The shift pattern for this position is working over Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm, 18.5 hours per week.

Please note that salary is Pro Rata for part-time posts.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist within Renfrewshire HSCP. The post is full-time although part time options may be considered provide resilience to the service.

This post is set within a multidisciplinary team working across acute and community supporting those with frailty to maximise their independence and wellbeing within their local communities, supporting early discharge and preventing avoidable hospital admissions. We welcome applications from experienced and innovative practitioners with an appetite for service improvement and self‑development. This post will work across the primary secondary interface, and join the HFRS team aligned within acute front doors in Renfrewshire City HSCP areas. Critical to the success of these roles will be facilitating and enabling communication between and within multi‑disciplinary teams across acute and community services.

Education and training will be aligned to the local induction and competency frameworks. These posts will be peripatetic working across acute and community to support the development of the 7 day service.
