• Assisting with personal care to support client independence.
• Helping clients with washing, dressing, and medications.
• Preparing and serving meals and performing household tasks.
• Shopping, laundry, and helping with errands.
• Offering companionship and encouraging client confidence.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assisting with all elements of personal care, to ensure clients are supported in being as independent as possible
• Assisting clients with getting washed and dressed
• Preparing meals and serving them with meals and fluids
• Prompting and assisting with taking medication
• Carrying out light household tasks to ensure environmental hygiene
• Shopping, laundry, and other small errands as required
• Offering companionship and helping build clients' confidence and independence
