Job summary

A local care service provider in Bradford is seeking a Care Support Worker to assist Service Users in their daily living activities. Responsibilities include helping with personal care needs such as eating, bathing, and hygiene, along with supporting daily activities as part of a care plan. A current UK driving license and a vehicle with business insurance are essential. This position also provides training for new employees.

Job Summary

Assisted Lives provides Care and Support Services to assist people from all walks of life to greater choice, independence and control over their own lives. Allowing you to do the things you love. The Care & Support Service provides Support Workers to support individuals within their own homes, both on a practical and personal care level.

The Care Support Worker will require you to undertake, with guidance and support, the tasks necessary to enable Service Users to maintain everyday living skills or to acquire new skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of a range of daily activities as directed by senior Assisted Lives staff or by Service Users as part of an agreed care plan.
  • Assist meeting the personal care needs of our Service Users including assistance with eating, toileting, bathing, dealing with incontinence or shopping and other household tasks. Personal care includes washing, dressing, bathing, toileting and medication monitoring and / or assistance.
Essential Skills

Current, UK full driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance.

Ability to partake in identified Assisted Lives tasks, as lifting is required such as carrying shopping bags (walking to shops or supermarkets) and move equipment or small items of furniture as we provide a cleaning and shopping services.
