Overview

Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Start Date: October 2025 – Location: Southall – Full-time – Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience.


This Higher Level Teaching Assistant opportunity is based in a welcoming Southall primary school that offers a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where children thrive both academically and personally. Responsibilities


  • Work with small groups of children across the school, delivering targeted interventions to pupil premium students.

  • Provide high-quality classroom support and foster a positive learning environment.

  • Cover classes in the teacher's absence, ensuring lessons are engaging and well-managed.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and senior leaders to raise attainment and support every child's development.

  • Play an active role in maintaining the school's high standards of care, ambition, respect, and empathy.


Qualifications / Experience


  • Experience in a similar role (essential).

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • A proactive, flexible approach and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
