We are seeking dedicated and experienced HLTA to join our Supply Staff team in Leicester City from September 2025.

The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher, working with a mixed-age group of pupils.
- Provide targeted support for children with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Deliver whole-class teaching, small-group work, and 1:1 interventions when required.
- Cover PPA time across different classes, supporting other teachers in the school.
- Assist with planning and preparing resources to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Work closely with the SEND team and class teacher to provide tailored support and interventions.
- Help maintain a positive and structured classroom environment, following well-established behaviour strategies.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds HLTA status or has a Level 4 qualification in education.
- Has experience supporting KS1 & KS2 classes, particularly Year 5/6.
- Has previous experience as an HLTA, Teaching Assistant, or teacher in the UK - this is essential.
- Has experience working with children with SEND, supporting their educational and emotional needs.
- Is confident delivering whole-class lessons, small-group activities, and interventions.
- Is organised, proactive, and adaptable, able to hit the ground running in a busy environment.
- Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with staff and pupils.
