  • Scheduling transport and coordinating deliveries/collections with drivers.
  • Supporting the service team to ensure efficient allocation of assets.
  • Managing compliance systems, operator licence, and transport documentation.
  • Monitoring driver hours, CPC compliance, and training.
  • Overseeing vehicle safety, maintenance schedules, and defect reporting.

Location: Rackheath, NR13 • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum • Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

The Company

A well-established independent, family-run business with a reputation for outstanding service and quality equipment. From their busy depot in Rackheath, they're now looking for a motivated Hire Controller / Transport Manager to join the team.

The Role

This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of the operation. You\'ll be the first point of contact for customers on the hire desk while also managing compliance and fleet operations as the site\'s Transport Manager.

If you enjoy a mix of customer service, organisation, and operational responsibility, this could be the perfect opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling customer enquiries, processing hires/off-hires, and managing quotes

The Details
  • Hours: Mon-Fri 07:00-17:00 + alternate Saturdays 07:30-12:00
  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
  • Holiday: 20 days + Bank Holidays
  • Benefits: Company pension, uniform, company van
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time
