Qualifications

  • Minimum four years post Uni/College experience working in highway design.
  • Must be proficient in AutoCad.
  • Experience in the design of traffic calming and cycle schemes.

Responsibilities

  • Developing highway designs in accordance with local design guides, MFS and the DMRB.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft packages to assist in the production of technical reports.
  • Capable of managing small scale S278 design submissions with local authorities.

Senior Highways Technician, remote working

Our client is a unique blend of surveyors, agents and engineering consultants. A team of 450 working as one from 30 UK offices to deliver value to clients in property, business and the public sector. They seek a Senior Highways Technician, offering remote working.

Responsibilities
  • Minimum four years post Uni/College experience working in highway design.
  • Developing highway designs in accordance with local design guides, MFS and the DMRB.
  • Must be proficient in AutoCad.
  • PDS/Site 3D and sign design software an advantage however training will be given.
  • Experienced in the design of traffic calming and cycle schemes.
  • Proficiency in drainage design is an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft packages to assist in the production of technical reports.
  • Capable of managing small scale S278 design submissions with local authorities.
