Rate: £40–£50 per hour (Umbrella) – negotiable based on experience

We are seeking an experienced Highways Lighting Design Engineer to join a high-profile, long-term programme shaping the future of the UK's road infrastructure. The succesful Highways Lighting Design Engineer will have experience of working on multiple street lighting projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop technical reports, feasibility studies, designs, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Conduct daytime and night-time site surveys of street lighting
• Support Environmental Impact Assessments, Economic Assessments, and Business Case development.
• Collaborate with clients, electricity suppliers, contractors, professional bodies, sub-consultants, and multidisciplinary design teams.
