A large NHS hospital trust in Margate is seeking a highly specialised cardiac scientist. You will provide leadership and conduct complex cardiac tests, focusing on echocardiography. This role demands a minimum of two years’ experience at a senior level in cardiology and relevant academic qualifications. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to both community and acute hospital settings.
A Vacancy at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. We are expanding services into a second community diagnostic centre, based in Broadstairs, Thanet. This post is to grow our community provision of echocardiography; however, the post holder will be expected to maintain knowledge and skills, rotating into the acute hospital setting when required. As a highly specialised cardiac scientist you will also be expected to carry out the complex cardiac tests relevant to your chosen specialism (Echo or Cardiac rhythm management). You will provide leadership, support and advice to junior members of the team and other health professionals as necessary.
