Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a real impact in primary education?
We are a leading education recruitment agency working closely with a network of primary schools in Aylesbury who are currently seeking experienced, passionate, and reliable HLTAs to join their teams.

As an HLTA, you'll be supporting teaching and learning across the school, covering classes in the absence of teachers, and leading interventions or small group work where needed. You'll work collaboratively with teaching staff to raise standards and help pupils thrive both academically and socially.

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

  • Support learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (dependent on your experience)

  • Lead small group work or interventions

  • Provide classroom and behaviour support as needed

  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support pupils with additional needs

  • HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)

  • Previous experience working in a UK primary school

  • Confident with classroom and behaviour management

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
