• HLTA qualification or strong TA experience with confidence leading learning.
• Patient, resilient, and child-centred approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a specialist SEND environment?

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a committed and skilled HLTA to join a well-established SEND school on the Wirral, supporting pupils with complex needs. This is a long-term role starting ASAP, offering the chance to work in a warm, supportive and highly collaborative setting.

The Role

As an HLTA, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality support to children with a range of learning needs, including:

• Delivering planned lessons and leading small-group interventions
• Supporting pupils with communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to create a consistent, nurturing environment
• Helping to adapt resources and learning activities to meet individual needs
• Encouraging independence, confidence and engagement in every learner
