Here at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust, we have a vacancy for a Registered Higher-level Pharmacy Technician based in the inpatient dispensary. This could be the perfect opportunity for an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician looking for their next challenge or a Rotational Pharmacy Technician looking to expand their horizons and gain experience at a higher level within the dispensary area. Excellent training and development opportunities will be provided. The successful candidate will demonstrate dynamism and commitment and be valued as a team player whilst assisting the Specialist Technicians in the running of the dispensary. As a member of the Patient Services team, you would be encouraged to contribute to the forward planning of the department and help in the co-ordination of workflow whilst undertaking a wide range of duties including accuracy checking and dispensing.
Dispensary opening hours are 8:45am – 7:00pm. Working hours for this post can be negotiated; a commitment to working until 7pm on at least three days will be required.
