A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Higher Level Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy services by ensuring the safe management of medications and contributing to patient care. Higher Level Pharmacy Technician Band 5
Full time 37.5 hours per week. Permanent post.
Please Note: This is a Band 5 role but we could consider applications from suitably experienced Band 4s and Pre-registration Student Pharmacy Technicians with Hospital Experience qualifying in 2025. Please see attached Band 4 and Band 5 Job Descriptions and Person Specifications. If you are appointed at Band 4, your salary will be within the range of £25,147-£27,596 per annum. If you are appointed at Band 5, your salary will be within the range of £28,407-34,581 per annum.
As the demand for Pharmacy Services increases we require Registered General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Pharmacy Technicians who are Accredited Technician Checkers.
You will be a key member of staff and actively support and develop Pharmacy Services whilst facilitating prompt discharges.
You will be a positive and well motivated person with a professional attitude.
You will be adaptable, a good communicator and work easily within a team.
You will participate in Medicines Management using EPR. This will include ward visits for medicines reconciliation as recommended by NICE guidelines. You will work in the Dispensary to provide a high quality and timely service.
You will train and support the ward based Technicians SATO’s and pharmacy staff including pre-registered Student Technicians.
