A local healthcare service in South Shields is looking for a skilled professional to deliver high-intensity cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and contribute to a supportive team environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide quality mental health interventions and access professional development opportunities. Commitment to flexible working and staff wellbeing is paramount, with a focus on creating a positive workplace culture.
• The post holder will provide screenings and high intensity CBT interventions as part of the Talking Therapies team which also includes other therapeutic models such as IPT, CAT, EMDR, CFD, Couples Counselling and Person Centred Counselling.
• The post holder will be expected to have a commitment to a holistic model of mental health and work with partners to address client need through 1:1 work and group work.
• There is recognition that staff can realise their potential through effective clinical and management supervision, managerial support, and access to internal and external training.
• Staff development and wellbeing are priorities, supported by a long-established Wellbeing Strategy Group.
• The post holder will be required to work one out of hours shift per week.
