Qualifications

Overview

My client, a well established fleet maintenance company, is actively seeking to employ an experienced and qualified HGV Technician based in Grantham to work on a full time / permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Work in a purpose built, well equipped workshop and undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance.
• Carry out inspections, repairs, servicing, recovery, diagnostics, full vehicle overhauls and any other related tasks.
• Undertake pre-MOT checks and perform any repairs that are required.
• Work as part of a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Technicians on a mixed fleet of vehicles including LGVs, HGVs, buses and other commercial vehicles.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3.
• HGV license would be preferable but not essential.
• Tachograph qualifications would be preferable but not essential.
