Qualifications

  • Experience working on HGV’s or completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry.

£1,000 signing bonus payable after 6 months service!

Salary up to £42k + overtime!

Working a rotating shift with an early finish Fridays! (38 hrs per week min)

Earlies:

  • Mon-Thur 07.00hrs - 15.25hrs
  • Friday 07.00hrs - 14.30hrs

Lates:

  • Mon-Thurs13.00hrs - 21.30hrs
  • Friday 12.30hrs - 19.00hrs
  • Sat @ overtime 08.00hrs - 13.00hrs

Who are you?

Do you holda Level 3 NVQor equivalent inHeavy Vehicle Maintenanceand have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed anapprenticeshipin the HGV industry?

What you will be doing
  • Our Technicians are responsible carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers’ trucks. Fault finding, carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes brakes, suspension systems etc.
  • Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
  • Assist in the fault diagnosis process
  • Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
  • Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
  • Assist with roadside breakdowns.
  • Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
  • Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
  • Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
  • Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
