A vehicle distribution company in Birtley seeks a qualified HGV Mechanic to perform mechanical maintenance and diagnostic repairs. The role offers a competitive salary of £40,560 per year, with additional bonuses and benefits including career development opportunities and a mental health scheme. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical maintenance, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience with hydraulic systems and various vehicle brands is preferred. This is a full-time role requiring weekday and occasional Saturday work.
