£1,000 Joining Bonus (Direct applicants only payable after 6 months)

Working Week | 39 Hours basic week + overtime available @ time and a half!

Covering a rotating shift:

  • Week 1: 0800hrs to 1630hrs
  • Week 2: 0900hrs to 1730hrs
  • Week 3: 1300hrs to 2130hrs

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGVs or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?

You’ll be expected to have technical and practical competency in the repair and maintenance of HGVs, and you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels. Flexibility to adapt to new processes, develop new skills, and participate in training is essential. You should be an active team member capable of developing or enhancing work processes.

What will you do?

As an HGV technician, you will join our Service & Workshop team at our Volvo Truck and Bus Centre, ensuring repairs meet Volvo standards. You will also work on systems involving alternative fuels such as LNG, hybrid, and full electric vehicles.
