Overview

Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter/Mechanic/Technician living in the Matlock or surrounding area looking for a workshop based role?

Permanent, Full-time role, 40 hours per week, salary up to £41,000 p/a. Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm day shift.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of tractor units, municipals, RCVs, sweepers, dust carts, gritters, the odd tanker and tanker unit.
• Carry out inspections and general maintenance to a diverse fleet.
• Routine (and preventative) maintenance
• MOT preparation
• Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
• 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
• Correction of running defects

Requirements

• Fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
• Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable but not essential.
