Job description

Overview

We're recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy, well-equipped workshop in Uttoxeter. You'll be carrying out servicing, diagnostics, inspections and repairs, ensuring vehicles are kept safe, compliant and on the road.

This is a solid Monday-Friday role with rotating shifts, paid overtime at time and a half, plus a guaranteed 5% annual bonus.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain HGVs to DVSA standards
• Diagnose and rectify faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Prepare and present vehicles for MOT inspection
• Complete accurate job cards and paperwork
• Maintain a safe, compliant and professional workshop environment

What You'll Need

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI)
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Full UK driving licence

• £19.29 per hour + 5% bonus
