Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an HGV Technician to service and maintain HGVs and fleet vehicles in Caddington. The role requires a Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and a Full UK Driving Licence. You will diagnose issues, prepare vehicles for MOT, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Competitive hourly wage of £35 - £36. This position offers a Monday to Friday day shift schedule.

HGV Technician – Job Details

• £35 - £36 per hour
• Monday to Friday, Day shift
• Fleet Work

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain HGVs, LGVs, and specialist fleet vehicles in line with DVSA requirements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Carry out pre-inspection checks and ready vehicles for MOT testing.
• Maintain accurate service documentation while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified HGV Maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Own tools.
