Overview

Salary: £20.06ph per hour plus Veolia benefits

Overtime: x1.5 rate; Sundays: x2; Bank Holidays: x2 plus Veolia benefits plus TOIL. Also the following allowance: Sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday - AM starts

Location: Garrison Street, Birmingham, B9 4BN

What you'll be doing
  • Repair and maintain the Veolia Fleet in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
  • Run diagnostics on vehicles using a range of equipment.
  • Hydraulic, electrics, pneumatics diagnostics and repairs.
  • Other general work as required by the Workshop Management Team.
  • Work within Health & Safety regulations and be responsible for your safety and those around you.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork, and time sheets are completed accurately.
  • Carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations. (IRTEC Licence preferred however we can provide training)
  • Complete roadside repairs when necessary (Training to be provided)
What we're looking for

Essential

  • Previous experience as an HGV Mechanical Fitter/Technician.

Desirable

  • Hold a HGV driving licence
  • NVQ L3 or equivalent

If you are a skilled or semi-skilled Technician we'd still love to hear from you. We can provide upskilling and develop you further once you've started with us.
