Job Title: HGV Sales Executive | Location: Liverpool (covering the whole of the UK) | Salary: £30,000 basic + uncapped commission

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced HGV Sales Executive to join our growing logistics operation in Liverpool. You’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing existing accounts across the UK. This is a hands‑on sales role focused on curtain side, container, trunking, full and half load services – selling the complete transport solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and win new business opportunities within the HGV and logistics sector.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Negotiate rates, terms, and agreements to maximise profitability.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer transport needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with operations to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' proven experience in HGV or transport sales.
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of curtain side, container, trunking, full and half load operations.
  • Van courier sales experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
