HGV Technician – Salisbury

Pay: £17.50 – £19.50 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Contract: Permanent, Full‑time

Earning Potential
  • Basic salary: £36,400 – £40,560 per year (based on 40‑hour week)
  • OTE with overtime: up to £45,000+ per year
Overview

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a modern, well‑equipped workshop in Salisbury. This is a stable days‑based role for a skilled HGV Technician who values a consistent Monday‑Friday schedule, competitive hourly rates, and the opportunity to grow within a professional, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance, servicing, and overhauls on commercial vehicles to a high standard.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.

What You’ll Need
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician in a fleet or dealership environment.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
