• Hold a City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Mechanics.
• Possess at least 3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced workshop, dealership, or related sector.
• Be prepared to work flexible shifts, including days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Interpret job orders and ensure compliance with repair specifications.
• Attend training sessions to keep skills updated.
• Accurately report all work undertaken, including vehicle tests.

• Interpret instructions from job cards and repair orders, ensuring compliance with repair specifications
• Attend training sessions to keep your skills up‑to‑date with the latest technical developments

DAYS - 4 on 4 off days.Either 06:00-18:00 or 07:00-19:00.
NIGHTS - Monday to Thursday OR Tuesday to Friday nights.Either 18:00 - 06:00 or 19:00 - 07:00

You will have

To succeed as an HGV Mechanic/HGV Technician, you will have a healthy mix of the following:

• Hold a City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Mechanics
• Possess at least 3 years’ experience working in a fast‑paced workshop, dealership, or related sector (including trucks, agricultural vehicles, etc.)
• Have familiarity with workshop administration systems (job cards, reports, electronic service sheets)
• Enjoy a varied workload and be adept at troubleshooting
• Be a team player with excellent communication skills
• Be flexible to work shifts, including days and nights, on a 4‑on, 4‑off pattern
