About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Driver to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for the safe transport of goods using curtainsider vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate lorries to deliver goods to scheduled locations.
  • Plan efficient routes while complying with UK road laws and company procedures.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
  • Load, secure, and unload goods correctly within trailers.
  • Ensure goods are safely strapped and positioned to prevent damage during transit.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle checks.
  • Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers regarding ETAs or delays.
  • Follow all health, safety, and transport compliance requirements.
