Rates:

Days: from £16.68 up to £17.18 per hour (based on start time)

Afternoons: from £16.68 up to £17.89 per hour (based on start time)

Nights: from £16.68 up to £18.08 per hour (based on start time)

Saturdays: £18.04 per hour

Sundays: £20.07 per hour

Overtime: £20.80 per hour (after 10.5 hours daily)

• Estimated gross weekly pay based on 55 hours: £920
• Expected gross annual earnings: £47,500

JOB DESCRIPTION :

HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV DRIVER CLASS 1 in partnership with our WINCANTON client based in Runcorn. Drivers are required to work Monday to Friday AM (between 02:00 / 05:00) or PM (between 14:00 / 17:00), this would be a mixture between store deliveries and long distant trunking. Professional HGV Drivers are required to APPLY NOW.

DUTIES :

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Always provide excellent customer service and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
• HGV Drivers must carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
• Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
• Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised.
• Possess an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service.
• Must have good communications skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.

REQUIREMENTS :

• HGV C+E licence – minimum 6 months.
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards.
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours).
• Good national geographical awareness.
• Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
