A growing IT services business in Sheffield is seeking an IT Support Team Manager to lead their technical support teams and drive operational excellence.

The successful candidate will manage a team of 8 x 1st and 2nd Line Support Advisors, acting as the key escalation point, supporting daily operations, and delivering excellent customer service. They will combine technical expertise with leadership skills, coaching the team, setting objectives, and ensuring high standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of IT support engineers, ensuring engagement and high performance.
  • Act as the primary escalation point, resolving complex issues and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct development reviews, set team and individual targets, and support achievement of objectives.
  • Cover technical work as needed, addressing workload gaps or complex issues.
  • Communicate business priorities and support adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Provide feedback to management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to IT standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach.
