A leading biomass fuel supplier in the UK is seeking experienced machine operatives to ensure efficient processing of wood waste in their Tilbury facility. You will operate machinery, enforce safety protocols, and support production goals in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will possess experience in heavy industry, a Loading Shovel Licence, and a commitment to health and safety. Seras is seeking experienced and dedicated machine operatives to support our wood waste processing operations, contributing directly to the UK’s transition to sustainable energy solutions. This role is integral to our ongoing success as the nation’s foremost supplier of biomass fuel.
Seras holds long-term supply contracts for nearly 2 million tonnes of biomass fuel annually, powering Energy Recovery Facilities across the country. Our operations generate renewable energy equivalent to the domestic electricity needs of approximately 2% of the UK population.
You will be responsible for operating machinery within a continuously running facility (24 / 7 operations), ensuring efficient processing of waste wood materials. This is a critical function within our production network and requires adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.

Seras is the UK’s number one supplier of biomass fuel, with long-term contracts to supply 1.7 million tonnes of fuel to biomass plants, generating renewable energy equivalent to the annual domestic electricity needs of 2% of the UK population.
