Senior Production Manager

Location: Crewe

Salary: Up to £67,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday-Friday | 07:00-15:30 (flexibility around core hours)

Are you a proven leader in heavy maintenance environments, ready to take ownership of multiple high‑profile projects in a fast‑paced, operationally critical setting?

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role where your leadership, judgement, and delivery focus will directly influence performance across several sites.

Working in partnership with a well‑established engineering and manufacturing organisation, this role places you at the heart of complex heavy maintenance delivery. Acting as a Senior Production Manager, you will lead five Heavy Maintenance Production Managers and a substantial workforce across production and business operations.

You will be responsible for balancing safety, governance, performance, and stakeholder expectations all while navigating a constantly evolving operational landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed governance and assurance frameworks to protect operational integrity.
• Drive accurate, real‑time reporting in a dynamic, change‑heavy environment.

• Build trusted relationships with customers and senior stakeholders.
• Champion continuous improvement, coaching and developing managers and teams to perform at their best.
