Job description
Healthy Relationships Programme Facilitator

This is an 18-month fixed term post for 30 hours per week, subject to funding under PEACEPLUS. We are seeking a passionate, skilled Healthy Relationships Facilitator to join our PEACEPLUS programme team. This role will deliver innovative, trauma-informed workshops and interventions that promote healthy, respectful relationships, challenge harmful attitudes, and help end violence against women and girls.respectful relationships, challenge harmful attitudes, and improve relationships across race, gender, religion and communities.

Responsibilities
  • To deliver engaging group sessions and training on healthy relationships, communication, consent, equality, and conflict resolution.
  • To lead prevention and awareness activities around peacebuilding and EVAWG, including domestic abuse, coercive control, sexual violence and harassment, racism, misogyny, homophobia and sectarianism.
  • To engage with community groups to co-design relevant, inclusive programmes.
  • To provide signposting and support for participants, ensuring safeguarding and confidentiality.
  • To build strong links with statutory and community partners to strengthen local prevention work.
  • To monitor and evaluate programme outcomes, ensuring compliance with PEACEPLUS reporting requirements.
  • To ensure that a high standard of support for women and children accessing Fermanagh Women’s Aid Services is maintained.
  • To ensure Women and Children accessing services are involved in the decision making, designing and developing of services and setting quality standards
  • To ensure that good public relations are maintained between Fermanagh Women’s Aid and other organisations, agencies, service users & stakeholders.
  • To keep informed of the context in which Fermanagh Women’s Aid operates in relation to Government/ Departmental strategies.
  • To ensure your work is in line with relevant Legislative and Statutory obligations.
  • To respect the confidentiality of any and all information received as a result of the post holder duties.
  • To be flexible and responsive to project needs by being available to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis and to take part on the on-call rota as required.
  • Ensure commitment to the ethos, core aims and objectives of Fermanagh Women’s Aid.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Education, Counselling, Psychology, Gender Studies, Community Development or related field. Other equivalencies will be considered.
  • Valid Driving Licence with access to a car.
  • Ability to monitor programme outcomes effectively.
  • Experience of PEACE or EU-funded community projects.
  • Extensive experience of planning and facilitating group workshops.
