A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated Health Care Assistant for full-time work at Blandford Community Hospital. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in palliative and rehabilitative settings. Are you a caring individual looking to work in an outstanding rated Trust? Tarrant Ward, based at Blandford Community Hospital, is looking for either an experienced Health Care Assistant or someone new to care to join their team. The post is full-time with part-time applications considered (minimum 22.5 hours).
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team in our two palliative care suites, providing care to patients and their families in the last weeks or days of life. Our Elderly Rehabilitation and End of Life Care unit has achieved the Gold Standard Framework award for end-of-life care. We offer a structured induction programme and opportunities to develop clinically and professionally, including options such as the Trainee Nursing Apprenticeship and the Registered Nursing Degree Apprenticeship.

If you are new to care and have no healthcare experience, we offer a development opportunity with a structured plan to progress from a Band 2 to a Band 3 Health Care Assistant on successful completion of the programme.
