The successful candidate will assist in providing high standards of care to surgical patients, requiring strong organizational and communication skills. Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in providing, ensuring and improving a high standard of care to all our surgical patients. We are recruiting for Ward 20 which is our Emergency Surgical ward, caring for patients requiring emergency admissions for care under our surgical team, as well as other specialties such as urology and colorectal surgeons.
The team strives to provide high quality, safe care pre and post operatively across multiple specialties. The right candidate will have strong time organisation skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment, as well as excellent communication skills as you will be required to communicate with patients, relatives, as well as different members of the multi-disciplinary teams within the hospital.
Experience in care is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. You must have strong organisation, IT and time management skills and be able to be innovative with a zest for new challenges as the demands of the unit grows and develops new services and pathways.
