A community healthcare provider in Cornwall is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for their Anchor Ward Inpatients. The role includes delivering clinical care and supporting patients with various needs. Applicants must be current NHS employees in Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly and possess an NVQ 2 in Health Care or equivalent. This position offers a permanent contract with rotational night and long-day shifts to maintain 24-hour care. Opportunities for career development within the organization are also available.

This role will be based on Willow Stroke Rehabilitation Unit as Liskeard Community Hospital temporarily until March 2026. Following this date you will be permanently based on Anchor Ward, Bodmin Community Hospital.
This role will require the post holders to be committed to the ongoing development of the wards and multi disciplinary team working, aiming to deliver the highest standards of patient care.
This position will require a cheerful and enthusiastic individual with a "can-do" attitude. In return we will support you in your career.
Permanent contracts available, undertaking a range of Night duties 19:30-08:00 and Long days 07:30-20:00 on a rotational basis in order to support 24 hour nursing care, 7 days per week.
