Overview

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is one of the UK's leading health care recruitment and care providers, specialising in care and support with individuals who have complex needs and Social Care.

Role

Role: Health Care Assistant

Shifts ranging from: Monday to Sunday Nights: 08:00PM - 08:00AM or 07:00PM - 07:00AM

Rate: £14-15 per hour

Locations: Service users between Weymouth and Bridport

Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time

You must be able to work alternative weekends

The Role

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Night Healthcare Assistant within Weymouth and Bridport area who can support across multiple packages. You will be supporting for Adults and Children who have complex needs such as Tracheostomy, PEG, Epilepsy, Suctioning and more. Our Healthcare Assistant roles are considered more of a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within their own home and especially within the community.

You will need to communicate with our services users and their next of kin effectively and appropriately, whilst also giving then the opportunity to communicate their needs as well.

Requirements
  • 6 Months experience in a care focused role
  • Drivers preferred
  • A right to work in the UK
  • Experience ideally with Tracheostomy
  • Willing to learn and open to upskilling
