Shaston ward is a 15 bedded ward who are seeking Healthcare Assistant, who are motivated to make a real difference with a caring and compassionate attitude, have excellent team-working skills, communication, and assessment skills.
Shaston ward provides rehabilitation and end of life care within our thriving community hospital. We are looking to recruit Band 3 Healthcare Assistants who have a keen interest in rehabilitation/Frailty and End of Life Care. We are a forward thinking supportive multidisciplinary team. It is a very exciting time on Shaston ward with the development of many services, at Dorset HealthCare we offer plenty of opportunities to develop your caring skills and provide development opportunities., Provide a high-quality person-centred approach to care delivery within your sphere of practice always considering patients privacy, dignity and safety.
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
