A leading specialist care provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Healthcare Assistant for their Elton Unit in Bury. Pay rate:£12.90 per hour + a £1000 welcome bonus
Hours:Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts:Day Shifts (7:30am - 8:30pm) & Night Shifts (8:15pm - 7:45am). Weekend work is included.
The Elton Unit is located on the outskirts of Bury, Greater Manchester. It is a 28-bedded specialist care home which provides residential and nursing support to adults aged 18 years and older who have a brain injury. The brain injury service is aimed at those whose disability requires management by a specialist team of practitioners who work together to maintain the person’s wellbeing and quality of life. The Elton Unit offers specialist care for a wide range of complex support needs, including people with a prolonged disorder of consciousness (PDOC).
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Healthcare Assistant,you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
