Salary: £33,020 - £38,805 per annum

The Role

We are pleased to announce that exciting new opportunities have arisen within our Health, Safety & Wellbeing Section. This is a fantastic chance to join a dynamic team committed to promoting a safe and healthy working environment across the University.

The postholder will support a healthy and safe working environment through the provision of advice and guidance on all aspects of occupational health and safety and will contribute to the development and delivery of the University’s HSW Management System.

About You

The postholder will be required to have:

  • A BTEC/NVQ Level 4 (HND) or higher in a relevant subject, which must have included health and safety modules, or another relevant professional qualification
  • OR
  • A-Levels/BTEC/NVQ Level 3/NEBOSH Certificate plus relevant experience in a Health & Safety role
  • AND
  • Membership of IOSH (or eligibility) or other relevant external professional body at Affiliate or Student Member
  • Practical generalist experience as an Advisor/Technician in Health and Safety, which included undertaking risk assessments (to include reviewing), audits, inspections and producing reports
  • Experience of maintaining health and safety records
