Join us as a Health & Safety Support at Thirteen Group!

Role Overview

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Health & Safety Support to join our Governance team. This role provides high-quality administrative support to the Health and Safety team, ensuring compliance with legislation and statutory requirements while supporting the delivery of professional, legally compliant services across the organisation.


This is a roaming role, so you’ll work mainly from home and across any location in the business as needed, with at least one day a week (Thursday) from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office or visit sites more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities


  • Supporting health and safety compliance monitoring and promoting adherence to legislation across the organisation.

  • Maintaining incident management systems, recording accidents, incidents and hazards, and communicating required actions.

  • Coordinating lone working safety measures and managing the Employee Protection Register.

  • Supporting the coordination and delivery of health and safety training programmes and maintaining accurate records.

  • Facilitating health and safety consultation meetings and providing guidance to stakeholders.

  • Monitoring and maintaining health and safety policies, procedures and guidance materials.



About You


  • Experience in day-to-day management and monitoring of health and safety operational systems.

  • Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills, including taking accurate meeting minutes.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to process data to determine appropriate solutions.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to maximise technology use.

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively, with the confidence to handle sensitive conversations.
